I'm sure some people are growing weary of me saying this but OP you really should just look into the ARK DT-S catback. Going off that I don't think it's a good idea to mix SOLO's J-Pipe axlebacks with other exhaust components. He said the back end felt like it was going to vibrate clear off. I believe he mated the J-Pipe sections to a midpipe with Magnaflow's perforated X-Pipe. After a few days of adjusting the J-Pipes he sold it to someone else-it was just too loud. He at first was surprised by the sound and how loud it was and said it sounded like nothing he's ever heard before. The other forum member who I sold it to only used the axleback (J-Pipe) portions of the SOLO exhaust. I might buy it, and hold on to the corsa incase I want to go back to it.Can't speak to the SW catback but I do have SW 1 3/4" LT's and after screwing around with SOLO's Mach X with J-Pipes which had certain aspects I liked very much and others that I did not, I sold it to another forum member and bought an ARK DT-S. just can't be to loud normal driving where its hard to talk and don't want the drone. When I was in indy for camaro fest at the autocross event a guy had a stainless works and it sounded so bad. your right corsa at wot throttle sounds great, but idle and cruise doesn't sound the best. I already have the corsa on mine with headers, high flow cats, and supercharger. I love my corsa with the cam it really woke it up! But l like the Corsa rasp at wot, it sounds sooo wicked! But at idle or cruise it just doesn't sound right. That being said, I feel the Retro Chambered TRUMPS the Corsa at idle and cruise!! Wot the Corsa gets the edge. I got the Corsa after hearing one with headers at wot, thinking I've gotta have that sound!! and worrying about the Retro Chambered being too loud on a daily driver when going to headers, which l didn't have on the L99 when l had it. Not as many pieces, only 2.5 inch and more clearance around the exhaust! It's still not that loud at idle and cruise with those mods, but will WAKE THE DEAD at wot!! Installation was easy. There's absolutely no drone! Not even with a CAI, shorty headers and high flow cats. Stainless Works 2016-21 Camaro SS Redline Axleback ( Aggressive Sound, Performance Headers Connect, Chrome Black Tips). The Corsa is raspy or high-pitched and slightly louder at idle and cruise than stock. The alignment it critical to get right or it will hit something when driving and going over bumps, being the clearance is pretty tight! The installation is a bit of a pita due to all the pieces it comes in and being 3 inch. It's not loud where it's going to annoy your neighbors or anything, not with stock manifolds & cats anyway. It sounds Great from idle to wot! I did not experience any drone and I know what drone is! Cruising on the highway at 80 mph is not a problem unlike the Flowmaster 44's on the Challenger l had. More of that muscle car sound the Camaro should have. ![]() The Retro Chambered is louder & has a deep low-pitched sound. Had the Stainless Works Retro Chambered on an L99 & the Corsa on an LS3.
