But one can speculate that they are the potential bunkers for future updates. Although players have discovered several hatchets in Caldera, we don’t have a clue about them as there’s no way to unlock them and enter inside. So, the competition to enter these bunkers is quite high, even from the beginning of the match.Ĭurrently, in season 6 of Warzone, only Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island have bunkers. Apart from having tons of legendary weapons and secrets inside of them, some bunkers also have blueprints for brand-new weapons. The process was complicated but fun for those willing to put in the effort. To do so, you had to make a series of phone calls to decipher Russian messages. In previous COD: Warzone seasons, players could access the secret bunker 11 in Verdansk's map. How to get inside Warzone's secret Bunker 11 If the player hasn't already used the character, you may gain a significant strategic advantage this way. You can also pick up a Red Access Card if you kill another player. You can also obtain these cards through the actions of other players. Even if you find legendary loot, it is unlikely that you will receive a Red Access card. Red Access Cards are rare and hard to find in random legendary loot found on the Verdansk Map. Bunkers that are not accessible with a code (2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) require you to acquire a Red Access Card to enter. Most Warzone bunkers require a Red Access Card to access. There are also three lootable locations accessible with the bunker codes below: If any of the bunkers below is still accessible in season 6, you can use its respective code to open it. The result is typically “very sharp” with a small secondary bevel and a bit of an “apple seed” profile. Our sharpening service will provide a good serviceable edge on the blade. Consider this as a general guideline only. The Edge ratings in particular are somewhat subjective and each blade can vary. This info is provided to give you a good idea of the product being presented, the one you receive may vary from the specific one we took measurements of. Please note: Due to the hand made nature of these items, all specs should be considered as approximates. However for reasons we won’t get into here, this is not the case. A common misconception is that swords should all be “razor sharp”. Moderately Sharp is close, but may need to be touched up to get the best performance. Possible values could be “Rebated” meaning the edge is intentionally thickened for safety, “Blunt” meaning the edge is fairly thick with little to no taper, ‘Unsharpened” which would taper to the edge but stop short of having any real cutting ability, “Slightly Sharp, Moderately Sharp, Sharp, or Very Sharp” Sharp or Very Sharp are considered good for cutting swords. The “Edge” spec will tell you about how sharp a blade is. A very high POB will result in a sword that feels heavier than it actually is and is difficult to wield. In general, a low POB results in good point control well suited to a thrusting blade, while a higher POB adds impact to a cleaving blade. A POB of 3”- 5” usually results in a well balanced sword, but does depend on the type of sword. In practice however, there are many reasons why you may not want this for a particular sword. In theory a sword with a POB of 0” is perfectly balanced. A number of 0” would balance exactly at the guard, while a negative number will have a POB in the hilt itself. It refers to the point on the blade where the sword achieves a perfect balance. stands for Point Of Balance, this is measured in inches from the hilt down the blade. Tamariz eliminates most of the cards, laying out those remaining in a different configuration, face down. Tamariz then invites another spectator to push the cochecito along the length of the deck it eventually seems to hit a snag and stops in front of one card, resisting the spectator’s hand. The deck is shuffled and spread out on the table. In it, spectators are shown a toy car - the cochecito - and one is invited to choose a card from a deck. The trick he did is called El Cochecito, and it is one of Tamariz’s signature pieces. He introduced Spanish viewers to the style of magic called “close-up,” done with ordinary objects, in near-enough proximity for a conversation and incorporating the participation of spectators. Instead of relying on carefully engineered contraptions, he engineered the attention of his audience. But Tamariz appeared on stage and screen armed with little more than his two hands. This put them as much in competition with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas as with their predecessors in magic they were creators of spectacle, witnessed at a distance. The sort of magician, in other words, who might actually make someone’s wife disappear. In the United States, the most visible performers of magic in the late 20th century were stage illusionists - Doug Henning, David Copperfield, Siegfried & Roy - all of whom worked with big boxes and flashing lights. The crowd gasped and squealed, and when each trick was over, those remaining craned their necks to catch the Maestro’s attention and be called up next. In the end, two spectators shuffled separate decks, both of which were then found to be in the exact same order, down to the last card. They each chose a card and replaced it in the deck, dividing it in half between themselves cutting again, each located the other’s card. Two volunteers shuffled a deck and cut it into four piles without knowing it, they had found the four aces. At times, he guided spectators through a procedure that led to an impossible result, without appearing to touch the cards himself. As often as Tamariz had someone pick a card, any card, as standard operating procedure dictates, he had them simply name one or even just think of one. Most of them joined him at the front at one point or another, and much of the magic seemed to be executed by them. The size of the audience - “spectators,” in the magician’s parlance - allowed them to sit just a few feet from Tamariz, which is his preference these days. I had just attended a performance by Tamariz at a hotel in the trendy Malasaña district, where 40 or so local residents came out to see him in the flesh. But Tamariz reacted as though it were the first time anyone had come up with the notion. “They always make the same joke,” he whispered to me, after a man asked him to make his wife disappear. A preternatural night owl - he often goes to bed when he sees the sun coming out - Tamariz is the last to leave any restaurant he dines in, permitting just about every other customer to approach him on their way out. He will pause midsentence to say hello, or pose for a picture, before returning seamlessly to whatever conversation he was engaged in the previous moment. (Imagine getting good and baked in public and seeing Kermit strolling by.) One passing woman did a Buster Keaton-grade double take, culminating in an expression of such uninhibited delight that witnessing it seemed to amount to a violation of her privacy. David Blaine has called him “the greatest and most influential card magician alive.” But in Spain, Tamariz is an icon, less like Blaine or David Copperfield and more like Kermit the Frog.Ī cluster of young men smoking a joint, heads bowed and pupils dilated, whispered, “Tamariz?” uncertain if they could believe their eyes. He is referred to by magicians all over the world, and waiters all over Madrid, as Maestro. Tamariz has been a professional magician for 52 years, and in that time, he has managed the singular feat of becoming both a household name in his home country and a living legend in magic everywhere. As I walked with the 80-year-old magician on side streets off the city center’s main drag, the Calle Gran Vía, heads turned left and right. Going out to dinner with Juan Tamariz in Madrid is a little like accompanying a cartoon character on a journey to the real world. While mastering has remained the bread and butter of the company, it has taken its services a step further. With an easy at-home mastering service, LANDR provides the final ingredient for musicians to gain complete control of their work. Thanks to the internet, artists no longer have to rely on big studios and record companies to handle the production and distribution of their projects. The company wanted to enable independent artists and hobbyist-musicians to create music that is on par with the current top hits. LANDR launched in 2014 as an intelligent online mastering service that lets musicians upload their recordings and instantly receive a professional-sounding product– simple as that. In this LANDR Mastering review, we’ll take a look at what exactly LANDR offers, how it compares to other mastering software, and if it is good enough to replace a human’s touch. You might be thinking, No way, too good to be true, but it is true, and LANDR has been making some serious waves in the music industry. What was once a painful, pricy step in the production of music is now as easy as a couple clicks of a button. That’s why LANDR released an online mastering service that uses AI technology to put the power back into the hands of musicians. It’s essential to the production process, but most musicians rely on professionals to master their work, and that gets expensive. Think of mastering as the icing on the cake, the cherry on top, the chef’s kiss. Mastering is the final stage of music production where the finishing touches are applied to a mix giving it that professional sound. But there’s one part of the music production process that remains a mystery to most musicians: mastering. Recording music is getting easier and easier to do at home with the help of user-friendly software and accessible equipment. In most legal thrillers the audience is put in a jury seat, making guesses about whether the defendant is innocent or guilty before the outcome is revealed. Similar to a murder mystery, part of the draw for the audience is being able to guess the outcome of the case. A legal thriller is a crime movie where the plot mostly follows a criminal investigation or the drama of a courtroom trial. In fact, there isn't much at all on those mountains other than what is known as "scrub" - basically weeds, vines, lightweight bushes and young sapling trees which have not yet grown heavy enough to fall over. Have you seen the "Dominican Alps"? Here's a picture. That is essentially what I did, but with a different interpretation of the mountainous area. So if there was a range of mountains with forests I simply mixed forest tiles into the chain of mountains to represent a wooden mountain. XYZ wrote:In my maps, I try to aggregate geographic information over several tiles. Spiral Sea 54x53=3k, 45% land, Classic, Flat, v1.sav.zip (7.27 KiB) Downloaded 165 times Here's a screenshot of the Spiral Sea scenario in play, and the scenario file is attached to this post. Despite being quite small, the Spiral Sea map / scenario presents some similar logistical issues as the Wrecktangular Labyrinth map but also adds the problem of long traveling distance for both land and sea units. the land is a spiral strip and a warrior unit walking from the beginning to the end of the spiral would take roughly 1,270 turns while the MegaHispaniola map is only 200 tiles wide by 100 tall. The terrain may seem unnatural but it's actually a pretty close match by elevation.Īttached is another map, a very small one at not even 3,000 tiles. So I used mountain tiles for the highest areas of elevation on the map. The "mountains" of Hispaniola may not actually be all that mountainous, but within FreeCiv there are very few tile choices (seven, basically) that indicate elevation. The two inland lakes are visible in both pictures. The screenshot I posted originally of the MegaHispaniola map is showing a section that is just below the center of the original image. I chose the latter method as being more representative of the actual land in a 2D view (looking down from above as it is in the original elevation image.) FreeCiv doesn't provide a third dimension (height) so in trying to demonstrate height one could either place a single mountain tile, for instance, where the real elevation picture shows a large area occupied by one mountain, or one could use many mountain tiles to show the entire 2D area which is occupied by that one mountain. I "flattened" that image to 7 colors, blurred it a bit to ensure that it would translate to square tiles well, then saved it in PPM format and programmatically converted the PPM image to a FreeCiv terrain layer map. The Hispaniola map is actually derived from an elevation picture which I will embed inline below. I'm not quite sure what "a natural feeling" could possibly be in a FreeCiv map. I'd rather that the difference in performance between tribes on similar terrain (or in same starting positions across multiple games) be only skill at terrain alteration / transformation choices. Specials are missing from -all- maps which I create because I don't like them. The labyrinth map was made much smaller but again with a deliberate logistical issue in that the map itself is a bit of a puzzle in several ways. The MegaHispaniola and MegaJamaica maps are somewhat largish, deliberately so, because at the time I made them, I was specifically interested in the logistical challenges of huge amounts of space with tons of other tribes. I made the maps for -me- (against "A.I." players), so each was designed to -my- preference at the time of creation. I collected all the scenarios I could find of Freeciv here: This is a rather big map but most of it is simply ocean or not settlable land.ītw. You can download this one over the modpack installer: I tend to make them small but detail-rich: You can also make valleys for rivers but the result is rewarding. It's a bit of work since you have to look at different maps like Köppen climate maps, topographic maps, maps of rivers etc. Give it a natural feeling and do some "landscaping" by making it look less artificial. You basically get no momentum such big distances.ģ. The game gets pretty boring if the distances between players are so big that they need an eternity to reach each other. It's the shape of Hispaniola and to some degree the correct terrain but it's large enough for many cities.Ĭongrats on your first scenario.
